Regulations of the Prize

Registration form of the Prize
Art. 1 - The Cultural Association AVGV is calling and organizing the Second International Prize of Vedic painting.
Art. 2 - These are the awards for the winners:
-1st award - Euro 2000,00 and certificate of classification
-2nd award - Euro 1500,00 and certificate of classification
-3rd award - Euro 1000,00 and certificate of classification
Special award of the jury - Euro 500,00 and certificate of participation.
Art. 3 - The prize is open to every artist without any distinction regarding the technique used, but the subjet must pertain the indications stated on the prize.
Art. 4 - Every participant can submit one unpublished work of the minimun size of cm 50X60 and maximun 80X100, frame apart.
Art. 5 - Every selected work must state on its back: name of the author, title, technique and size. There must present also a eye hook to hang on the exposition place.
Art. 6 - Those artists who wants to partecipate at the Prize should register filling up the registration form and attaching a picture in JPG file max 80 KB, or send by priority mail a letter with the following details:
Name and Surname
Spiritual Name
Date and Place of Birth
Full Address
Telephone
Title of the painting
Size
Technique
Year of execution
Enclosed in the letter please send a picture of the work in A4 format or a JPG file on CD. Then send the letter to the following address:

Art. 7 - The registrations must be submitted within the 30th of April 2011.
Art. 8 - The jury presided over by the President of the Association AVGV, will select 20 paintings from those who have sent their files or pictures and the registration form. The first selection will be done on the basis of the images sent, therefore it is not necessary to immediately send the paintings.
The 20 selected artists will receive communication by mail of by e-mail within the 10th of May 2011 where they will be requested to bring the original painting at the European Vaisnava Festival.
Art. 9 - Responsibility and care of the paintings.
The Prize organizers, even if assuring to take maximun care of the paintings, will not have any responsibility for stealing, burning or damages of any kind, before and after the exposition in the hall of the Vaishnava Seminar.
Transportation and insurance of the paintings are in charge of the participants of the Prize.
The pictures sent for the selection will not be returned.
The exposition of the paintings will be from 2nd till 6th June 2011.
Art. 10 - The jury consisting of artists and expert knowers of the Vedic Culture and the sponsors of the Prize, will value the paintings and will choose the winner paintings. An official notary will draw up a report of the final decision which will be unquestionable.
Art.11 - The awarding of prizes will be on 6th June in the conference hall of the Vaishnava Seminar in Roma. All those who have reached the final will receive a certificate of participation.
Art. 12 - The winner paintings will remain property of the Association AVGV and will be utilized for the stated goals and will be used for public cultural expositions, while all others paintings will be returned to the owners at the end of the awarding.
Art.13 - This regulations is intended to be accepted at the moment of the registration.
